Notice of Public Hearing – City of Tawas City

A public hearing will be held by the Tawas City Council at 6:00 pm on Monday, July 20, 2026, to receive comments on proposed Ordinance No. 340 to amend Section 2-31, Compensation of Council; reimbursement for expenses and Section 2-32, Compensation of Mayor, Article II – City Council of Chapter 2 – Administration of the Code of Ordinances, City of Tawas City, Michigan.

Comments may be made in person, in writing to the City of Tawas City, 550 West Lake Street, PO Box 568, Tawas City, Michigan 48764, or emailed to the City Clerk at [email protected]. Copies of the draft ordinances are available for public review at City Hall or on the City’s website at tawascity.org.
