Public Hearing Notice City of Tawas City – Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Ordinance

The City of Tawas City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6pm to recommend adoption of an ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance to the City Council. The public hearing will be held at the Tawas City Hall at 550 West Lake Street, Tawas City, Michigan 48763. The full text of the amending ordinance is available at City Hall, online at tawascity.org, by contacting the City at 989-362-8688, or by email at [email protected]. Written comments may be sent to PO Box 568, Tawas City, Michigan 48764-0568 prior to the meeting.  The proposed amendment amends Section 3.12 Temporary Buildings by adding item D. Temporary Workforce Housing.
