Kayak Rental

Have you ever wanted to try kayaking but didn’t have the equipment to try it?  The City of Tawas City has installed kayak rental lockers at two locations for your convenience.  One location is in the parking lot at the south end of Shoreline Park next to Town Square.  If the lake is too choppy, you can paddle the Tawas River across the street in Veterans Park.  Both locations have a non-motorized watercraft launch for easy water access.   Follow the instructions on the locker flyer.  The rental includes a kayak, a paddle, and a life vest so you can be on your way to paddling our beautiful waters!
