Fire Hydrant Flushing

In our continuing effort to provide clean, safe drinking water, mains in the following communities will be flushed April 27, 2026, through May 15, 2026, per the following schedule.

  • City of East Tawas: April 27th – May 1st
  • City of Tawas City: May 4th – May 8th
  • Baldwin Township: May 11th – May 15th

Discolored water and lower water pressure may be encountered during this process.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your water department.  Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated.
