Fire Hydrant Flushing

In our continuing effort to provide clean, safe drinking water, mains in the following communities will be flushed September 28, 2026, through October 16, 2026, per the following schedule.

  • City of East Tawas: September 28th – October 2nd
  • City of Tawas City: October 5th – October 9th
  • Baldwin Township: October 12th – October 16th

Discolored water and lower water pressure may be encountered during this process.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your water department.  Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated.
