TAWAS CITY COUNCIL VACANCY

The City of Tawas City has a vacant seat on the City Council as of January 5, 2026. Qualified individuals who are interested in filling the vacancy must complete and submit a Council Appointment Application (PDF) for consideration to fill the term that expires on December 31, 2026.  The application is available on the City’s website at tawascity.org or at City Hall. The completed application must be returned to the Tawas City Clerk, 550 West Lake Street, PO Box 568, Tawas City, Michigan 48764 or email to [email protected] by noon on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. The City Council will fill the vacancy at their regular meeting on February 2, 2026.
