Utility bills are mailed the first of every month and are due by the 20th of the month. After the 20th, a 15 percent penalty is applied.

Methods of Payments
Payments by Mail: City of Tawas City, PO Box 568, Tawas City, MI 48764-0568
Payment in Person: Tawas City Hall, 550 West Lake Street, Tawas City, Michigan, 48763.
Payment by Drop Box: There is drop box available for payments by checks or money orders, located in the parking lot behind City Hall off Mathews Street.
ACH (Automated) Payment: Tawas City utility bill customers can have their payments directly deducted from their checking or savings account. If you’re interested in this free service, complete this form and mail or return it to City Hall with a voided check.
Online Payment: Online payments are available for a fee by clicking here or calling (855) 894-2404. You must have the account number, which is located on your bill.
