Recycling is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the WM Transfer Station at 685 Aulerich Road, East Tawas, MI 48730. The containers are set up as self-serve. Simply drive up to the containers, put your items in the correct container and drive away!

Voters in Iosco County said “yes” to funding recycling! The millage will raise about $620,000 annually for recycling. The funding will cover costs for the countywide recycling program, including the operational and capital costs of the recycling drop-off sites, special events programs, hiring a Recycling Coordinator, and education on how and what to recycle. The funding is managed by the County Recycling Advisory Board.
