Utility Bills

All water/sewer/garbage bills that are mailed from the City of Tawas City were delivered to the Tawas City Post Office on September 30, 2019.  City Hall has been receiving a large volume of phone calls from individuals who never received a bill.  We have been in contact with the Post Office to try to determine the reason for the delay, and we have been informed that they are trying to locate the bills.  In the meantime, if you haven’t received your bill this month, please contact Tawas City Hall at (989) 362-8688 or [email protected] to request a duplicate copy and/or sign up for electronic delivery of future bills.  You can also check for your balance due online at

https://bsaonline.com/?uid=608.  In accordance with Section 30-81 of our Code of Ordinances, customers are responsible for the bills once they have been mailed.  As a result, failure to receive the bill does not waive the late fee.  We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and are hoping to find the cause of the delay to prevent it from happening in the future.
