The City of Tawas City is seeking applications for a part-time Administrative Assistant.
The Administrative Assistant will assist City Hall staff in day-to-day operations and will include customer service as well as clerical duties related to the City Manager’s, Clerk’s, and Treasurer’s offices. Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent, post high school education in communications, computers, accounting, or general business, or an equivalent of three years of related work experience. Applicants must possess strong communication and computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel. This position will be 20 hours a week with additional hours available on occasion, and will pay $12-14 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
